Thank you SO much for putting in this work, Steve -- I look forward to reading your weekly missives! Hope all's well with your precious girls (and your snuggly pup!).
During the most recent NSL podcast you decried the scourge of sorting by alphabetical order. The phenomenon you are describing is known as Alphabeticism. Thanks for the newsletter, looking forward to your future posts.
Prof. Vladeck provides invaluable insight into the affairs and workings of the Supreme Court as well as the legal issues that surround its caseload. Subscribing and supporting him in this endeavor was an easy choice. I can’t wait to read One First.
I have been following you since I started seeing you on Twitter. You have been a friend of my son Aaron's at Ithaca College where we once shared a meal. Love reading your insights about SCOTUS. I have learned quite a bit. Glad to see you with a sub stack blog. Good luck with it!
Instantly subscribed as I thought, "How in the world does he even have the time to *think* about doing something like this?" I'm def more a FedSoc kind of guy but tell my lawyer friends I'd be thrilled to see you on the Court. And not just because of your depth of devotion to our heroes in Flushing Meadows.
Welcome to Substack, Steve! I look forward to more insights from you and Karen!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Congrats! Excited to learn about SCOTUS and how to newsletter (it’s a verb right).
This newsletter is the biggest thing to happen in Supreme Court land since Justice Kagan installed the froyo machine—and that’s saying something.
